Abstract
⺠Influence of scanning step on overlapping of droplets was investigated. ⺠Critical overlapping condition of droplets was calculated. ⺠Four kinds overlapping states of adjacent droplets were predicted. ⺠Two calculated models of the optimal scanning steps (WXP and WYL) were proposed.
