Abstract
A magnetically affected current-carrying nanobeam. Summary Using Rayleigh, Timoshenko, and higher-order beam theories, the equations of motion of current-carrying nanobeams subjected to a magnetic field are obtained accounting for the surface energy effect. The free vibration of magnetically affected nanobeam carrying electric current is then examined via a meshless methodology.
