Abstract
⺠Creep and shrinkage of the concrete core of a shallow CFST arch under a sustained load will occurs. ⺠This produces a time-dependent change of the nonlinear in-plane buckling load of the CFST arch. ⺠When the buckling load is equal to the sustained load, the nonlinear buckling will occur. ⺠Creep and shrinkage of the concrete core also cause a change of equilibrium state of the CFST arch. ⺠This may lead to excessive deformations of the CFST arch under the sustained load.
