Abstract
► Slip flow due to a stretching cylinder is studied analytically and numerically. ► Similarity transform is applied to the Navier-Stokes equations. ► Asymptotic solutions are derived for large Reynolds number and small slip. ► Slip can greatly reduce the velocities and the shear stress.
