Abstract
The high-velocity entrance into water of a body of revolution with a conical tip is considered. On the basis of considerations of the classical theory of impact with application of experimental information, it is established that for certain values of the parameters such bodies possess a property of recovery, after impact, of the initial zero value of their angular velocity even if it changed during entry.
