Abstract
According to the demand of high speed and large indexing in automatic machine, a novel inner displaced cam mechanism is presented and researched on dynamics. Multi-degree of freedom dynamics model taking transverse and torsional vibration of input and output shafts into account is established by using lumped parameter method for the mechanism. The natural frequency of the mechanism and the dynamic respond is solved. Based on sensitivity analysis method, the influence of the parameters to the first-order natural frequency is analyzed. The input shaft and the shunt shaft diameters are considered to have more impact on the 1st order natural frequency than the other parameters. Finally, the mode test is carried out to obtain the natural frequencies of the prototype so that the feasibility of the dynamic model is verified.
