Abstract
⺠We investigated analogies existing between multiaxial and uniaxial spectral methods. ⺠The PSD of uniaxial stochastic process is split into infinitesimal contributions. ⺠The damage sum of PbP method is applied to uniaxial stochastic process. ⺠A mathematical formalization of the so-called “single moment” method is then given. ⺠A new framework is then proposed to compute damage in uniaxial stochastic processes
