Abstract
We study the problem of controlled synchronization in networks of oscillatory systems via diffusive dynamic coupling. For a class of nonlinear systems namely observable systems with respect to the coupling variable (the measurable output). We construct a dynamic coupling combining a nonlinear observer and an output feedback controller. Sufficient conditions on the systems to be interconnected and on the coupling strength that guarantee global synchronization are derived. The results are illustrated by computer simulations of coupled van der Pol systems.
