Abstract
We have been studying wireless microwave power transmission for agricultural vehicles in order to examine the possibilities of this technology. The experiments were done in an anechoic chamber to shield the high-level microwave power. Fundamental experiments of measuring transmitting and receiving power using developed system were conducted to estimate expected available power for the vehicle. We had a running test under microwave power transmission. As a result, it became clear that receiving power was influenced by the accuracy of direction of both antennas. Transmitting and receiving power when vehicle was running were measured. Vehicle was able to run by microwave power transmission.
