Abstract

This paper describes an USB-bootable learning support system for real-time control. The system boots from an USB, and it reduces burdens about building, maintaining, and operation of a learning environment. The system uses a real-time(RT) control package. The package makes it possible to do RT processing on Linux Kernel 2.6 without reconfiguring the Linux kernel. This system also realizes the efficient shift from the simulation phase to the experimental phase by automatically generating the code for RT experiment from block diagrams. So, this system makes it possible to learn system control based on block diagrams. Therefore, it improves the efficiency of the learning of system control.
