Abstract
Recently, automotive control system development has been becoming complex rapidly. We have been promoting Model Based Development (MBD) for control system developments to reduce heavy loads. One of the important issues in promoting MBD is education for MBD engineers, but no educational curriculum existed. We have developed Skill Standards for MBD Engineer Training (Skill Standards) to resolve the situation. In this paper, the overview of Skill Standards published in August 2008 and the development activities are described.
