Abstract

Colleges of technology, the KOSEN School is a form of a professional school, which encompasses students are of the ages of 15 to 20. KOSEN should provide education focusing on the five important years during the students' adolescence. Thus, I think that KOSEN needs to place more importance on nurturing the students' construction of social skills, including communication. The present essay will focus on “the basics of human relations are one-on-one communication”, and will discuss three cases related to it. More trial-and-error attempts are needed in order for the new ‘social skill’ education cases to be rooted in the higher education system. It will be time-consuming and still may not show results immediately. However, by being patient, I believe we can change the whole KOSEN education.
