Abstract
⺠A simulation-based risk quantification/assessment framework is discussed. ⺠Focus is on offshore wind turbines under extreme environmental conditions. ⺠Approach is founded on probabilistic description of excitation/system model parameters. ⺠Surrogate modeling is adopted for improved computational efficiency. ⺠Standalone risk assessment applets for automated implementation are supported.
