Abstract
In this paper, optimal control for hybrid autonomous switched systems with state jumps are considered. We focus on problems such that a prespecified sequence of active subsystems is given where we seek to find the optimal switching instants to minimize a performance index depending on these instants. The proposed approach for this problem is based on Ant Colony Optimization algorithm (ACO). Some examples are presented to illustrate the approach, when compared to results obtained by gradient method.
