Abstract
This contribution deals with the development of a method for multi-objective optimization of vehicle velocity profiles. This complies with an automatization of anticipatory driving. For a certain track, which is determined by the sat-nav system, the objectives “fuel consumption” and “duration of a journey” are minimized. Therefore the algorithm of dynamic programming is applied. This paper focuses on the construction of the mathematical optimization model as well as on the implementation of dynamic programming and also presents the optimization results. This paper is related to Topic No. 2: Driver Assistance Systems, Subtopic No. 2.2: Autonomous Driving
