Abstract

This paper is concerned with the design of a Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) discrete-time H∞ controller for diesel engine common rail injection systems, using the Linear Fractional Transformation (LFT) approach. Some experimental results are provided which prove the interest of this method in the engine advanced control field where simple controllers cannot ensure performances and robustness due to the system complexity.
