Abstract
⺠Strata displacement, stress and water pressure changes were monitored at longwall. ⺠Stress changes, permeability conditions, and gas flow dynamics were modelled. ⺠Identified a 3D annular zone along the longwall perimeter for enhanced gas drainage. ⺠Developed a new approach to design of optimal co-extraction of coal and methane.
