Abstract
- Amorphous titania oxide layer with a self-ordered nanotubular structure was produced.
- Excellent corrosion resistance of the coated alloys was revealed by electrochemical studies.
- Fatigue performance of both alloys was not impaired by the nanotubes coating.
- Fracture mechanics estimation proved the small dimension of the nanotubes layer.
