Abstract
												- Ni-free Co-Cr-Mo alloy rod was fabricated by cold swaging and annealing.
- Microstructures and tensile properties of the alloy were studied during annealing.
- Precipitation during low-temperature annealing suppressed the grain growth.
- Specimens treated at 1173Â K showed highest strength with acceptable ductility.
