Abstract
- Compressive through-thickness relaxation of multi-layered hydrogels is studied.
- A relaxation time is relatively short; stress decays over 80% before equilibrium.
- Two different mechanisms dominate relaxation behaviour at low and high forces.
- A fraction-exponential model is suitable for description of hydrogel׳s relaxation.
