Abstract
- The mechanical behavior of porcine aortas was assessed with ultrasound elastography.
- Full inflation testing and physiological loading were applied in a mock loop.
- Stress-strain curves in good agreement between image planes and with literature.
- Properties assessed (Neo-Hookean) reveal high agreement between experiments.
- Shear modulus is a suitable parameter for the in vivo pressure range.
