Abstract
A schematic depicting an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE) sample in the shape of a rectangular block subjected to plain strain compression in a channel die followed by fitting of the true stress-true-strain curves using a Gaussian and 8-chain model, from which the sum of crosslink and entanglement density for the PE was obtained for a series of PE with various crosslink densities.139
