Abstract
A predictive switching logic scheme is considered whereby a feedback-gain is switched-on at any time from a family of candidate feedback-gains so as to control a discrete-time LTI system possibly subject to joint positional and incremental input saturations. An example on the use of the technique in a hard disk drive control context is considered.
