Abstract
⺠Two types of CoCrMo dental alloy substrates (cast and hot pressed) were studied. ⺠Hot pressed substrates revealed finer microstructure than that of cast substrates. ⺠Hot pressed substrates revealed higher hardness than that of cast substrates. ⺠Hot pressed substrates revealed greater corrosion resistance than that of cast substrates. ⺠No significant (p<0.05) differences were found in metal-porcelain bond strength.
