Abstract
⺠An in vitro model is designed to investigate the shear strength of a porous bone-implant interface. ⺠The mechanical interlock to bone model and push-out force rise in line with FRC porosity. ⺠The model of initial implant fixation with pins at the gypsum-FRC interface was not successful.
