Abstract
⺠We report on the fatigue behavior of TiNi foams processed by the magnesium space holder technique. ⺠The endurance limit is independent of the porosity content in the range 49-64 vol.%. ⺠The mechanical properties of the foams are suitable for biomedical applications. ⺠Fatigue failure occurs on the pore walls by micro-crack coalescence.
