Abstract
⺠We determined the micro and nanoscale properties of tricalcium phosphate bone scaffolds through nanoindentation, SEM and XRD. ⺠Scaffolds were fabricated through injection molding and sintered at 950, 1050 and 1150 °C. ⺠An increase in sintering temperature resulted in a significant increase in hardness. ⺠A sintering temperature of 1050 °C resulted in the highest elastic modulus, which decreased with an increase to 1150 °C.
