Abstract
Industrial controllers are simple lower order controllers. This help in easier practical implementation of mathematical representation of the controller. The P, PI and PID controllers are widely popular in industries due to their simplicity with the performance capability. In this paper a procedure for designing robust lower order industrial controller is presented using Quantitative Feedback Theory. Unlike other conventional tuning methods this method is reliable and ensures robust control of the plant in presence of uncertainty.
