Abstract
For power system Oscillatory instability assessment, knowledge of Dominant eigenvalues and oscillatory mode of system is essential. In this paper, a new methods is suggested which uses acquired data from online measuring to determine dominant poles and analyze stability of system. Since general fault that occur in power system could be assumed as unknown step disturbance, in this method online measuring is used to develop a fully identified model of system in the case of undetermined disturbances and particularly unknown step inputs. This method was implemented on input-output extracted data from Simulated Iran power network Model with DIgSILENT software.
