Abstract

The paper describes the Power Management System of the real power station for a refinery plant feeding. The power station is situated in the north part of Caspian region in Kazakhstan. The local power system shares the resources and collaborates with the other north Caspian power sources via the 220 kV transmission lines labeled “KEGOC”. The model is extensiveness, therefore the substance of this contribution was reduced to following items. Firstly, the basic description of the power source modeling – generator. Secondly, the relationship between NPS power station and NPS consumption. In this paper are published simulation results of the model verification, which is still in the progress. The simulation and modeling composition of Power Management System will be used for future analysis, design and implementation of the real power station in Kazakhstan refinery plant.
