Abstract
The problem of controlling DC-to-DC series resonant converters (SRC) is considered. The control goal is to regulate the output voltage of the converter, acting on the switching frequency, despite converter load uncertainty. A robust controller is designed using the backstepping technique based on a suitable state-space model of the converter. The resulting closed-loop stability and performances are theoretically analysed and illustrated through simulations.
