Abstract
This paper presents an identification method of partially observable Discrete Event System (DES) using safe Petri nets. This method allows constructing the formal model for a DES in a form of Petri net. The proposed method is based on the use of the input/output sequences constructed during the previous evolution of the system. The main advantage of this method is that priori knowledge are not needed and, a simple use of the measured Input/Output signals allows a complete identification of the system.
