Abstract
Ultralight three-dimensional polypyrrole/nano SiO2 aerogels have been synthesized through an in situ gelation process. These composites showed enhanced properties of electromagnetic absorption and can be easily to scale up. Only with a low filler loading, the maximum effective EMA bandwidth could reach 6.0Â GHz when the thickness of absorber is 2.5Â mm. This work provides a facile method to fabricate a potential and excellent electromagnetic absorption material with low loading ratio and wide absorption bandwidth.
