Abstract

A diagnosis system is designed to detect faults of sensors of lateral vehicle dynamics. Contrary to further publications, an algorithm is introduced which allows a differentiation of the road surface. Therefore, it is possible to adapt the diagnosis system either on dry asphalt or on ice. Thresholds that are used to detect an error can be decreased in order to detect smaller faults.
