Abstract
⺠Fabrication of AA6061/fly ash AMC by compocasting method. ⺠Incorporation of fly ash particles into the semi solid aluminum melt. ⺠No interfacial reaction between the aluminum matrix and fly ash particle. ⺠Uniform distribution of fly ash particles having clear interface and good bonding. ⺠Fly ash particles enhanced the mechanical properties of the AMC.
