Abstract
⺠Dense TiC-TiB2/Ni composite was successfully fabricated at lower ignition temperature in air. ⺠The composite possessed the comparable mechanical properties to those made in vacuum. ⺠The reaction behaviour significantly depended on the Ni content and reactant particle size.
