Abstract
► Glass fibre reinforced polyurethane is tensile tested at different strain rates. ► GFRP maximum strength and modulus of elasticity increase as strain rate increases. ► One-dimensional viscoelastic phenomenological model is proposed. ► Experimental tensile tests show good agreement with model estimations.
