Abstract
► Hysteresis loops show a distinctive clockwise rotation with rising strain amplitude. ► Pseudoelastic behavior arises from twinning-detwinning during cyclic deformation. ► Wider lenticular extension twins and narrower banded contraction twins are observed. ► Cyclic strain hardening exponent is higher than monotonic strain hardening exponent. ► With rising strain ratio fatigue life decreases and mean stress relaxation increases.
