Abstract
⺠Experimental study on the material properties of steel under fire conditions. ⺠Strain rate affects the elevated temperature material stress-strain response. ⺠Reduction factors in codes do not reflect the influence of the fire duration time. ⺠R-O formulation can accurately predict the stress-strain response of steel in fire.
