Abstract
⺠The main goal is through thickness stress measurement of a stainless steel pipe. ⺠Welding process of pipe is analyzed by finite element welding simulation. ⺠Residual stresses are measured by using LCR ultrasonic method. ⺠The comparison between ultrasonic and FE results show an acceptable agreement. ⺠The FELCR method shows good potential in through thickness stress measurement.
