Abstract
Dark and bright pulses based on intra-cavity frequency doubling using a MgO:PPLN were demonstrated experimentally. The modulation depth dependence of dark pulse on the pump power and temperature was investigated. The dark pulse could be achieved in a wide temperature bandwidth. Different repetition rate of dark pulse was obtained by tuning MgO:PPLN. The minimum pulse width of 109 μs and maximum modulation depth of 22.3% were obtained.
