Abstract
Sr3YP3O12:R (Râ¯=â¯Dy3+ and Eu3+) phosphor is synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction method in air. The crystal structure and luminescence properties are investigated. Sr3YP3O12:Dy3+ phosphor with excitation at 350â¯nm emits yellow light in the range of 450-780â¯nm. Sr3YP3O12:Eu3+ phosphor with excitation at 394â¯nm shows red emission in the range of 550-760â¯nm. The emission intensity of Sr3YP3O12:R (Râ¯=â¯Dy3+ and Eu3+) phosphor is enhanced â¼1.5 and 1.8 times, respectively, when H3BO3 as flux is added. The luminous mechanisms of Sr3YP3O12:R (Râ¯=â¯Dy3+ and Eu3+) phosphor are explained by energy level scheme of Dy3+ and Eu3+ ion. The experimental results are beneficial to improve the luminescence property of other phosphors.
