Abstract
Dark solitons possess the applications in such fields as all-optical nonlinear communication technology, nonlinear optics and optical switches due to their advantages of stable form and long propagation distance. In this paper, according to the analytic two-soliton solutions for the variable-coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger equation, anti-dark soliton interactions are studied. Different group velocity dispersion functions are chosen, and various characteristics of anti-dark soliton interactions are analyzed. Results indicate that the anti-dark soliton transmission is closely related to the group velocity dispersion of optical fibers, and we can choose different optical fibers to control the anti-dark soliton interactions.
