Abstract

The paper deals with the concept of practical stability of discrete-time linear systems under nonlinear static output feedback. The main result provides a sufficient condition of practical stability based on a generalization of the small- gain theorem to this class of systems. Examples are given concerning the control synthesis of practically stabilizing quantized controllers.
