Abstract
Industrial decision-makers often try to develop new products by reusing their previous experiences. Among the different methodologies in existence, we used the principle of Case-Based Reasoning (CBR). CBR comprises of four activities (the four-REs): Retrieve, Reuse, Revise, and Retain. we are principally, interested by the “Retain” step. This paper proposes to use non-compensatory multicriteria analysis, similar to the method ElectreI (Roy, 1978). In order to illustrate our suggestion, we present an industrial application concerning the design of parts out of curved tube.
