Abstract

Recently, society has been affected by technological issues on a daily basis because the relationships between scientific technology and society are becoming more complex. It is desirable that not only authorities but also citizens become concerned about science and technology. Therefore, Science Communication (SC) is receiving attention. Our research goals are to design and develop computer-aided software that supports discussion during Science Communication exercises. We conducted an experiment to evaluate the effects of the system in an Osaka University graduate school class. Based on our results, our goal is to develop a more effective support system.
