Abstract
► The first microfluidic immunosensor applied to the detection of clenbuterol in bovine hair samples. ► The selectivity and sensitivity of the immunosensor are very interesting. ► The immunosensor shows the lowest detection limit and wide linear range. ► The advantage of hair analysis is due to the high affinity of clenbuterol for melanin. ► This method can be a veterinary control tool for the detection of clenbuterol residues.
