Abstract
► Two molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) chemosensors for ATP determination were devised and fabricated. ► Two new bis(2,2′-bithienyl)methane functional monomers for ATP imprinting were synthesized. ► ATP dissolution in a water-organic solvent solution lead to a new electropolymerization procedure. ► MIP imprinting factor for ATP was as high as 9.4. ► Recognition signals were transduced to signals of the resonant frequency and capacity changes.
