Abstract
- A biomechanically-based registration method for hepatic surgery guidance is evaluated.
- Results obtained using two different biomechanical models are compared.
- Realistic heterogeneous liver model does not improve registration results.
- We recommend using the simpler homogeneous liver model for this registration method.
