Abstract

This article deals with the impact of machines operator's assignment on jobs processing times in workshop scheduling problems. We are interested to the case in which the number of operators is lower than the number of machines, operators being able to supervise several machines simultaneously, and operator's assignments affect machines productivities. After having proposed modelisation allowing us to characterize these impacts and distinguishing three different modes to reassign operators in the workshop, we present an application of this model to the case of the cyclic production in Flow-Shop workshop type. A mathematical formulation and integer linear mathematical model determining an acceptable operator's assignment for the execution of a cyclic plan of production are then proposed.
